Samsung app

There is a Samsung Android App on Google-Play called “micro:bit by Samsung Electronics UK” which allows you to connect your micro:bit to a Samsung phone using Bluetooth.

Using this app you can control the micro:bit via a wireless link, for example:

• download Scripts onto the micro:bit
• use the micro:bit to control various functions of your phone (camera, etc)

Getting started

Download the Samsung Micro:Bit App.

Make sure that your Device (Smartphone or Tablet) supports Bluetooth Low Energy 4.0

Pairing process

In order to be able to use the micro:bit app, it is required to pair the micro:bit with your phone.

Before doing that you must upload a blank Blocks script to the micro:bit, then follow on-screen instructions for the pairing process.
